Skoda illuminates lighting Enyaq iV

Slowly but surely Skoda is getting ready for the unveiling of its new all-electric model: the Enyaq iV. A bunch of new sketches let you know more about the lighting.

Skoda is busy with the unveiling of the Enyaq iV, because traditionally everyone is very fond of sketches and teasers. After futuristic sketches of the entire body, Skoda now focuses on the lighting of the Enyaq iV. Petr NevÅ™ela, chief designer in the exterior lighting department at Skoda, says the full-LED matrix headlights are a further development of the ones that now adorn the front of the Scala, Kamiq and Octavia. “The detail level has continued, such as the new daytime running lights with subtle ‘eyelashes’ and the new hexagonal shape of the main LED modules.”

The Enyaq iV is Skoda’s first model on VAG’s new MEB platform. It shares many genes with the Volkswagen ID.3, but promises to be a size bigger. Take the Golf and Octavia as a comparison: basically the same car, but a size bigger as Skoda. In less than two weeks we will find out everything about the Enyaq, because on Tuesday September 1, Skoda will be pulling the curtain of its new EV in Prague, Czech Republic.
