The Duster is perhaps the nicest Dacia you can buy. This striking convertible version only makes the Romanian SUV even more interesting!
Until now, we only knew the current second-generation Duster and its predecessor as a five-door, but that is changing thanks to a Romanian garage company. AutoK9, as the company is called, is more than happy to put the scissors in the price-technically advantageous Romanian.
We welcome: the Dacia Summer. The Dacia Summer is a first generation Duster cut open by AutoK9 that also has to do with two less doors. The striking creation has a roll bar, adapted bumper work and is built on sturdy light metal. The interior of the Romanian is also being addressed. For example, the interior of the Duster is partly finished with leather, although the biggest change is of course the placement of a huge vertically oriented screen on the center console. The ‘aft deck’ and the floor are finished with wood. The costs for the conversion are not tender. AutoK9 asks about 30 grand for the Summer conversion. There is no further work on the powertrain.
Incidentally, it is not the first time that AutoK9 transforms a Dacia. For example, the garage has previously removed a first Dacia Logan from its roof. The same model has also been transformed into a coupé.
