Tesla CEO Elon Musk has asked employees in an internal email to step up a gear. The quarterly figures are panting in the neck of the CEO and he is looking for a new production record. So get started!
BNR Nieuwsradio has received the letter. Musk sent it to the staff with ‘all hands on deck’ as the title. He hopes that the staff will work a little harder. According to him, the delivery of cars will be top priority for the coming week. Musk wants to have as many Teslas as possible delivered by the end of September. This makes it possible to set a new quarterly record.
Musk hopes that Tesla will be able to deliver 500,000 cars in this six-month period. This quarter is therefore very important. The letter does not specify any current numbers, so it is not known how much harder the staff will have to work. With a new record, the CEO expects the stock price to rise again.
Tomorrow also promises to be an important day for Tesla. Then a real ‘Battery Day’ takes place. During this day created by the brand itself, Tesla will come up with more news about its latest battery generation.
