New 4Matic version for Mercedes-Benz B-class and GLB

Mercedes-Benz is expanding the Dutch delivery range of the GLB and B-class with a new all-wheel drive version. From now on, the 200 petrol versions are also available with 4Matic all-wheel drive.

Anyone who wanted a Mercedes-Benz GLB or B-Class with a petrol engine and 4Matic all-wheel drive had until now at least had to rely on the 250 petrol versions with an output of 225 hp and 350 Nm. That changes immediately. The blown 163 hp and 250 Nm strong 1.3’s of the GLB 200 and B 200 are now available with four-wheel drive.

The regular front-wheel drive GLB 200 and B 200 have a seven-speed dual clutch automatic transmission, but the new GLB 200 4Matic and B 200 4Matic have an eight-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. The GLB 200 4Matic sprints to 100 km / h in 9.7 seconds and has a top speed of 202 km / h. Average consumption is set at 7.9 l / 100 km. This makes it slightly slower than the front-wheel drive version, which reaches 100 km / h in 9.1 seconds and has a top speed of 207 km / h. The B 200 4Matic manages to complete the 0-100 sprint in 8.7 seconds and has a top speed of 219 km / h. This new four-wheel drive variant is also slightly slower than its front-wheel drive brother. After all, it sprints to 100 km / h in 8.2 seconds and has a top speed of 223 km / h.

Mercedes-Benz charges a minimum of € 58,017 for the GLB 200 4Matic. The additional cost compared to the front-wheel drive GLB 200 is therefore € 7,418. The B 200 4Matic changes ownership from € 45,263, while the front-wheel drive B200 is in the order book with a starting price of € 37,949. You can order immediately.
