None other than McLaren F1 driver Lando Norris has been given the opportunity to try out the spectacular Elva. At Circuit Silverstone, Norris threw the gas hard.
At the end of last year, McLaren created a special creation with the Elva. A two-seater without windshield and roof. The ultimate way to experience speed. And quickly, that’s the Elva. The 810 hp and 800 Nm strong biturbo V8 shoots the Elva to 100 km / h in less than 3 seconds. In just 6.7 seconds you have even 200 km / h on the clock from standstill. Smart aerodynamics in the nose must guide the driving wind over the car in such a way that you as a driver do not get the full brunt of your visor. However, riding without a helmet still seems to be asking for difficulties.
Lando Norris, who is currently driving at McLaren in his second season as a Formula 1 driver, had the opportunity to try out his employer’s creation. At Circuit Silverstone, the cheerful Briton received the keys to the Elva, dressed in retro colors by MSO. As you can clearly see in the video below, it was a pretty cool experience for Norris, even though he is of course used to a much rappier McLaren. He also received the necessary instructions from McLaren (with a wink) which superlatives he had to use to describe the car.
