Two years ago Techzle was able to show you the first photos of an open-body version of the Dacia Duster. Now Dacia has also pulled the curtain off the Duster Pick-up itself.
In various South American countries there is the Duster Oroch, a four-door pick-up based on the previous generation Duster. That lifestyle pick-up had a really simplistic Duster Pick-up as a little brother. Two years ago, Romanian Romturingia already showed a pick-up version of the current second generation Duster at a local event. Dacia has now presented the Duster Pick-up itself.
The Duster Pick-up is, just like the foretaste shown two years ago, a Duster that has been converted into an open-body car by the Romanian toko Romturingia, although it is officially delivered by Dacia. We immediately have bad news to report. Just like the crackling Duster Fiskal, an order version of the Duster, the Duster Pick-up is not coming to the Netherlands. In fact, it is only intended for the Romanian home market.
The model must of course do with two doors less than the regular Duster. In exchange, he gets a 1.65 meter deep body in return. The payload is a decent 500 kilos. The Duster Pick-up only comes on the market with the 1.5 dCi diesel engine of 115 hp in combination with four-wheel drive. It costs about € 22,500 in Romania.
