Volkswagen Arteon and Arteon Shooting Brake also with 2.0 TDI

The Volkswagen Arteon was introduced to a completely new body style during its facelift: the Arteon Shooting Brake. Volkswagen today announces more about the Arteon and Arteon Shooting Brake as they are available at Dutch dealers from this weekend.

In the middle of this year, the Volkswagen Arteon presented in 2017 went under the knife. The Arteon not only got a revised front and a sharpened buttocks, the Volkswagen also came back from the cutting table with a new plug-in hybrid powertrain and with a heavy 320 hp and 320 Nm strong Arteon R version. It did not stop there, Volkswagen simply added the Arteon Shooting Brake as a new body variant to the Arteon range. Just like the renewed Arteon liftback, the Volkswagen Arteon Shooting Brake could already be ordered with a 190 hp 2.0 TSI. The Dutch delivery range is now being expanded with a diesel version.

The 190 hp 2.0 TSI was for the time being the only engine version on the price list of both the renewed Arteon and the Arteon Shooting Brake. The regular five-door Arteon costs € 48,950 with that petrol engine, while the Arteon Shooting Brake with that 2.0 TSI changes ownership from € 49,490. The surcharge for the Arteon Shooting Brake is therefore € 540 compared to the regular five-door. Volkswagen is now also adding a 200 hp 2.0 TDI to the price list of the Arteon and Arteon Shooting Brake, an engine version that, like the 2.0 TSI, is only available in combination with the R-Line Business + trim level. Shifting is done in both engine versions with a DSG automatic transmission with seven gears.

Volkswagen Arteon and Arteon Shooting Brake

The Volkswagen Arteon 2.0 TDI has a starting price of € 55,490. Volkswagen charges a price of € 55,990 for the Volkswagen Arteon Shooting Brake 2.0 TDI. The mutual price difference of € 500 is also quite small.

Equipment

The standard equipment of the R-Line Business + includes the R-Styling package. The Arteons in this version are on 18-inch light alloy, have Led Plus headlights and tinted rear side windows. Features such as a black headliner, a three-spoke steering wheel with paddle shifters and the Discover Media multimedia system, along with an extensive digital instrumentation (Digital Cockpit Pro) and a reversing camera, are standard.

The Volkswagen Arteon and Arteon Shooting Brake 2.0 TDI can be ordered immediately.
