Audi RS5 Coupé according to Abt

The German tuner Abt has got his hands dirty on the Audi RS5 Coupé facelifted last year. The naturally muscled sportsman gets a nice chunk of power.

The chance that you are short of power in the Audi RS5 Coupé seems nil to us. Just like the RS4 and RS5 Sportback, it produces 450 hp and 600 Nm from its 2.9-liter biturbo V6. “More is always better”, seems to be the motto of tuner Abt. This gives the RS5 Coupé a power cure and don’t forget to pump up the appearance.

Abt boosts the power to 540 hp and 680 Nm, which means that the muscle power of the Audi has been increased by 90 hp and 80 Nm. The extra power comes from, among other things, a rewritten engine management system and a modified intake line. Abts Audi RS5 Coupé accelerates to 100 km / h in 3.6 seconds, making it 0.3 seconds faster than the original. Have you had your RS5 Coupé equipped by Audi with the optional carbon-ceramic brakes? Then Abt ensures that the speed limiter only starts working at 300 km / h. It is striking that Abt’s latest RS5 Coupé is almost as powerful as the fierce RS5-R that the company of the pre-facelift RS5 had on the menu. The tuner may therefore come with a new RS5-R that will be a bit more powerful than this 530 hp variant.

Of course you can turn to Audi for a series of external extras. Abt shows with this bright green RS5 Coupé mounted on 21-inch gold-colored light alloy what is possible. This copy is packed with a relatively subtle body kit consisting of carbon fiber spoilers and wings. Abbot also gives him a set of springs that bring the muscle bundle up to 2.5 centimeters closer to the asphalt than the standard RS5.
