Alfa Romeo dons Stelvio and Giulia as Veloce Ti

The Alfa Romeo’s Stelvio and Giulia, especially as Veloce, already have a sporty disposition, but there is always a little extra. That’s why the Veloce Ti versions come into play.

The Alfa Romeo Stelvio Veloce and Giulia Veloce are normally the crème de la crème if you don’t count the freak Quadrifoglio versions, but Alfa Romeo saw room for more. Both cars will be available as Veloce Ti. The designation ‘Ti’ stands, as connoisseurs already know, for Turismo Internazionale. This version is good for a mix of sporty and chic decoration.

The extras of the Ti versions are reflected in the Stelvio in a new skid plate under the rear bumper and new black 21-inch alloy wheels. In the interior it is even more eye-catching, with leather and Alcantara-covered sports seats and carbon fiber accents. Tinted windows and Veloce Ti badges top it off. According to Alfa Romeo, the Ti version should bring the Veloce a bit more towards the Quadrifoglio in terms of atmosphere. The Giulia follows a similar recipe, although it is of course on slightly smaller and slightly different wheels. Anyone who does not immediately spot the difference between the regular Veloce and the Veloce Ti will be subtly reminded of it by the black side mirrors and the fairly large badges on the side screens.

Of course, both the Giulia and Stelvio have the 280 hp 2.0 T or the 210 hp 2.2 JTD under the hood that we are used to from the Veloce. Switching is done by means of an eight-speed automatic transmission and the forces are optionally directed to all wheels. What Alfa Romeo is asking for the Veloce Ti versions and whether they will also come to the Netherlands, is currently not yet known.
