Nissan has created a very adventurous-looking camper based on the electric e-NV200. The e-NV200 Winter Camper is a show car that is exactly what its name implies.
The electric e-NV200 Van and e-NV200 Evalia are about seven years old, but that doesn’t stop Nissan from taking the passenger version of that bus as the basis for a rugged-looking camper.
The e-NV200 Winter Camper is equipped with a 220v power pack that you can charge with the solar cells integrated in the roof. The elaborately decked out camper has a pop-top roof, but that does not make it a car to spend a few days secluded from the outside world. Nissan is installing a kitchenette, fold-out beds and extra insulating glass in the e-NV200 Winter Camper to slightly increase the living and sleeping comfort.
The e-NV200 Winter Camper covered with cheerful stickers is slightly higher on its wheels than a regular e-NV200 Evalia. The wheel arches are filled by off-road tires that give the electric bus a nice stubborn appearance. Nissan mounts spotlights on the nose that generate no less than 5400 lumens of light. Mud flaps, beams at the side skirts and rubber floor mats should complete the in- and outward off-road party.
The powertrain has not been tinkered with, which means that the e-NV200 Winter Camper also has a 109 hp electric motor and a 40 kWh battery pack that provides 200 kilometers of range.
Are there concrete production plans for this implementation? No, but it provides fun viewing food. Looking for information on motorhomes that you can actually buy? With Techzle Campers you stay fully informed about the new and used motorhome range and everything a motorhome has to offer.
