Subaru Outback gets extra rugged Wilderness version

Subaru will soon come with an extra roughly dressed version of the Outback. The first details of this variant, which is said to be called Outback Wilderness, can be seen on a teaser record.

Subaru will bring the current generation Outback to the Netherlands in April. In the United States, however, the model has been on the road since mid-2019. Even before the youngest Outback is in Dutch showrooms, Subaru is already expanding its range in the United States with an extra intense variant: the Wilderness.

Subaru presents the Outback Wilderness at the end of March. A teaser photo shows, among other things, that the special version will have larger plastic panels around its body. In addition, the car is not only on different wheels, but apparently also on tires that are more suitable for off-road driving. In any case, Subaru hints at a greater ground clearance in an accompanying letter. The brand writes: “The Legendary Outback is already the toughest and most capable car in our range. But what if we went further. Or higher?”. This set of spyshots previously showed a solidly raised Outback.

You probably don’t have to count on new powertrains. Whether the Outback Wilderness is also coming to Europe? We will see. Let the regular Outback come first.
