The week is over and that means that a fresh app overview is waiting for you! In our opinion, you should not miss these new apps, games and updates. You can find the best iOS apps from week 43 here.
The best iOS apps at a glance
The App Store works overtime every week to handle the never-ending stream of new apps and updates. However, you will hardly notice this, because only a small part of it is worth installing. If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch can use some new apps, you’ve come to the right place.
1. PopGrid
Instagram used to be a photo app, but nowadays videos are just as important. You will not only see that when you scroll through the images of your friends, but also through the Stories at the top of the app. However, Instagram only lets you show one video at a time and that could be better. That’s where the PopGrid app comes in. With this app, you can post up to nine videos in one Instagram post.
With a video you can show much more than with a photo, but with multiple videos the possibilities are almost endless. With multiple videos in a collage you tell a whole story, without taking up too much time.

2. Plotograph +
Apple is giving away free codes for the impressive Plotagraph + photo app. The app provides an accessible way to add animation to a still photo. For example, you can let the clouds float by, or let small waves move in a photo with water. By using these functions creatively you can also create surreal scenes, with pulsating objects or flowers.
Normally Plotagraph + costs 5.49 euros, but you can download the app for free for a limited time via the Apple Store app. All you have to do is go through these steps.

3. Frost
In Frost it is the intention that orbs of a certain color must be filled with particles of the same color. Those particles fall through the image like rain. As a player, you activate the swarm by swiping your finger over it and bringing the particles to the orbs. Only then are the balls filled and the level complete.
That sounds simple and it is. But of course the levels are getting a bit more difficult. For example, multiple orbs are used with multiple colors. Other times you will have to direct the particle rain past obstructions. Later in the game you completely lose your influence on the rain and you have to determine its route with the help of other particles.

4. WhatsApp
Since the release of iOS 11, WhatsApp suffered from an annoying bug that prevented notifications from being sent. With an update, the chat app finally fixes this error.
The bug was caused by the iOS notification system and its collaboration with WhatsApp. Users were not notified of new messages, or only saw them appear when they opened the chat app. And that is annoying, because you can easily miss (important) WhatsApp messages this way.
