Have you accidentally ticked an Audi SQ8 instead of an RS Q8 on the order list? Then enjoy that little 25 grand that you keep in your pocket. With your SQ8 you can knock on the door of the German tuner Abt for a power cure that will pass the RS Q8 in terms of power.
The Audi SQ8 initially had a 435 hp and 900 Nm strong 4.0 TDI V8 under the hood, which was replaced last year for a 507 hp and 770 Nm strong 4.0 TFSI V8. Indeed, a petrol engine. With its 507 hp, the SQ8 must of course tolerate the 600 hp and 800 Nm strong RS Q8 above it, but not if you visit the German Kepten where Abt is located.
Abt has a Power S engine upgrade ready that boosts the SQ8’s power quite a bit. After the Abt treatment, the Audi SQ8 delivers 650 hp and 850 Nm. Indeed, the 4.0 V8 is therefore 50 hp and 50 Nm than that machine in the RS Q8. The top speed of Abt’s SQ8 is also above that of the RS Q8 at 270 km / h. Abt also has an Aero Package ready in which numerous skirts, spoilers, lips and edges are accommodated. Abt offers the complete package, which includes the engine upgrade, the exterior extras and special 23-inch alloy, for € 22,900. There is an additional € 3,445 to get everything sprayed in the right color.
