PayPal starts the rollout of its renewed app in the App Store. The application is mainly simpler and safer. You should know this.
Redesigned PayPal app
It’s easy to transfer money with the official PayPal app. You only need the e-mail address of the recipient for this. Via the app you also keep track of all your transactions with your expenses during the webshop pen and more. The company is now rolling out a new version of the app.
1. The app is more streamlined
PayPal ensures that the app works better and faster. Including a renewed home screen, where all your recent activity is. You can also see the money that is in your account on this screen and you can immediately send an amount to the people you most often transfer money to.
2. And safer
With this update, PayPal makes it easier to add a photo and edit the contact list. In this way, the app helps assure users that the money is being sent to the right person.
3. The rollout may take a while
It is not yet entirely clear when the updated app will roll out to the Netherlands. The rollout takes place in different phases. First with a limited number of countries, including Australia and Italy. Later to all countries.

Apple Pay Cash
With the renewed app, PayPal is more competitive with Apple Pay Cash. This is a side feature of Apple Pay, which allows users to pay among themselves via iMessage. This resembles Tikkie, for example. You cannot use this in the Netherlands yet, because Apple’s payment platform is not available here.
