Before the new week starts, let’s take a look back at the past few days. The iPhonededitors have rounded up this week’s best iPhone apps and updates for you.
This week’s best iPhone apps and games
The App Store is working overtime every week. New apps, updates to existing programs and all kinds of games are popping up all the time. You will probably not notice this much, because most of it is not worth downloading. Every Sunday separates iPhoned therefore the wheat chaff. Here are the best iPhone apps and updates from last week.
1. Machinika Museum
Machinika Museum is reminiscent of a digital escape room, full of puzzles to be solved. Your job is to repair broken machines in spaceships. You also solve puzzles to travel further to different star systems.
Besides puzzling, you also have to be alert for mysterious things. For example, who made the machines? And what are they for? The game also features a huge museum that showcases the history of alien civilizations. Take a good look around here, because you can gain a lot of knowledge from this.
2. SongPop 3
Are you a real music connoisseur? Then you might be able to use challenge. With SongPop 3 you can test your music knowledge of just about every genre out there. How quickly do you recognize a number?

In the third version of SongPop there is even more music, new game variants and you can share your favorite playlists with others. You can also put together a playlist yourself and challenge your (online) friends to a competition.
3. Fallen of the Round
In Fallen of the Round you wander into the darkest dungeons, on a 3d game board. You play with a character that looks like a real miniature doll that you might recognize from games like Warhammer or Dungeons and Dragons.
By expanding your card deck you get more and more special and strong attacks. Not only your attacks, but also your position in the field is important. By standing in the right place during attacks you have an advantage.
4. Mystery Match Village
In this Candy Crush-esque game you play as detective Emma who returns to her hometown. Once there, she discovers all kinds of secrets and mysteries that she is only too eager to solve.
The game is divided into episodes where you have to solve a new puzzle. By sliding three of the same items next to or under each other, you will encounter lost items. There are about 400 levels and that number will increase with new updates. So plenty to do!
5. Infinite Lagrange
The makers of Infinite Lagrange announced the sci-fi game months ago, but now it’s finally on the App Store. In the game, humanity has started a new civilization in space stations.
Your task is to become the most powerful space base in the universe. You collect your own army and try to become more and more powerful. The game is free to download and play online.
