Toyota introduces a new version of the RAV4, the Adventure. The Adventure is visually tougher and gets new headlights.
We welcome: the Toyota RAV4 Adventure. That is a tougher decorated variant of the RAV4 that distinguishes itself from the regular versions with its specific, strikingly angular bumper work and black plastic wheel arch extensions and silver skid plates. Striking is the placement of the Toyota logo at the front, which is lower in the grille with the Adventure than you are used to from the RAV4. It sits in the middle of two thick horizontal slats.
The RAV4 Adventure can be recognized by, among other things, new LED headlights, with a different light signature. In addition, Toyota is installing new ten-spoke alloy. The manufacturer now uses LED lighting in the interior, the passenger seat can be electrically adjusted depending on the version chosen, the buttons for the window control are now illuminated and there are now USB-c ports. As it turns out, Toyota has chosen the RAV4 Adventure for the introduction of some RAV4 novelties.
You don’t have to expect the heavy bumper work of the Adventure version on the regular RAV4s. Incidentally, those bumpers are less new than you think, they have already been spotted in the United States on the comparable Outdoor variant. Other features specific to the Adventure trim include matte gray 19-inch alloy wheels, a special two-tone exterior paint scheme, black leatherette seats with orange stitching and Adventure door sills. Prices for the Dutch market are not yet available, although it is known that the RAV4 Adventure will be at the dealers in the first quarter of 2022.
