The Lexus NX has yet to set foot on Dutch soil, but the car has already been nicely dressed by two companies. Both Toyota’s own Toyota Racing Development (TRD) and home tuner Modellista are taking care of the brand new SUV.
The Lexus NX, presented in the middle of this year, will be available at the Dutch dealers at the end of this year. If you like a sporty edge, you don’t have to leave the car. In the long run, Lexus will undoubtedly come up with a more dynamically decorated F Sport Line version, but whoever wants to go a step above that, can hang his NX with parts from Modellista and TRD Parts.
With its many black extras, the Lexus NX with TRD trim in these photos is the sportiest of the bunch of tacky SUVs. From the TRD Parts catalog you can not only draw custom side skirts and 20-inch alloy, whoever wishes can even select a rear bumper with diffuser and no fewer than four exhaust tailpipes. Striking detail are the side mirror caps, even those have a different shape. The Modellista variant is also full of external additions, but is just a bit more luxurious for the day. Modellista gives the NX a different grille and instead of black accents sticks chrome-colored elements on the NX. This variant does not even have visible exhaust tailpipes. However, there are silver-colored elements in the rear bumper that refer to exhaust pipes.
The Lexus NX has a starting price of €59,990 in the Netherlands. That amount is for the NX 350h with front-wheel drive. The NX will later also be available as a plug-in hybrid NX 450h+. Here you will find the prices of the new Lexus NX.
