As the price of gasoline continues to rise, more and more motorists are looking for a way to lower their bills when it comes to refueling. The editorial staff of Telecharger.com has therefore selected five applications on iPhone and Android to help you find the petrol stations closest to you.
Diesel Now
As soon as it opens, Gasoil Now geolocates you and displays your position on a map. Two buttons, located on either side of the map, are then available to start the search for a petrol station. The one on the left instantly searches for the stations closest to you, while the button on the right allows you to find the cheapest stations near your location. By tapping on the name of a station from the results, you will get additional information such as the price of other fuels or the date of the last price update.
Like Gasoline, Gasoil Now offers to open third-party applications such as Maps, Waze or Google Maps to instantly search for a route. The application settings allow you to choose your fuel and indicate the capacity of your tank. This information makes it possible, when searching for a station, to indicate the approximate price of the full tank according to the price per liter entered. Gasoil Now also offers to indicate your favorite brands to help you filter your search results and allows you to view stations that are out of fuel and temporarily closed.

Essence & Co
The Essence & Co application allows you to find the nearest or cheapest gas station depending on your location with the possibility of choosing a search radius ranging from 1 to 50 km. Very complete, it allows you to search for stations according to the fuel you need: SP95, SP98, SP95 E10, E85, Gasoil and LPG. Once each parameter has been entered, you can directly view the petrol stations around you on a map. The results are displayed in the form of a list, but it is possible to view the stations found directly on a map. The prices indicated in the application are frequently updated, in particular by the users of the application.
The stations displayed in gray in the list of results are those with no more fuel available. A button is also provided to allow users to report if a replenishment has taken place. By entering the details of a station, it is possible to obtain the prices of all the fuels offered, but also to update the prices of each fuel. Finally, Essence & Co is able to program a route to the selected station by opening a third-party GPS application such as Waze, Plans or even Google Maps.

Cheaper fuel
Cheaper fuel plays the card of sobriety. The application geolocates you when opening to display the list of the closest stations. The prices displayed use a classic color code allowing to see at a glance the prices charged: in green, the most affordable stations, in orange, those with average prices, and in red, the most expensive stations. .
All preferences, especially with regard to viewing and sorting results, should be changed from within the application settings. No button is provided to quickly modify the sorting from the main window. Note in passing that the petrol stations listed by Fuel less expensive are not listed by name, but by their address directly. To obtain the name of a station, you must tap on the address from the list of results, which will automatically open Google Maps. In addition, another color code is used by the application, at the station address level: in green, the prices updated in the last 3 hours, in yellow, in the last 12 hours, in red in the last 24 hours, and in gray, prices updated more than 24 hours ago.

Finding fuel at the best price and in all circumstances is what Zagaz is trying to offer. After indicating your search radius, the maximum price not to be exceeded and the type of fuel sought, Zagaz suggests finding the closest stations by displaying them in a list or on a map. Like Fuel Less Expensive, Fuel Flash updates the sobriety card. After having geolocated you and asked for the fuel you are looking for, the application displays the list of gas stations near your location with the possibility of classifying them according to the price per liter of fuel or their distance. A tap on one of the results gives you access to the complete sheet of the station in which the prices of all available fuels are displayed as well as the services offered by the establishment (inflation station, CB machine, etc.).
Fuel Flash is able to launch a route directly in Google Maps to take you to the chosen station and even offers to update fuel prices or establishment information for the benefit of other users.
