Hiya’s app has a number of services: first of all, it blocks unwanted calls.
If you receive a phone call that turns out to be unwanted, you can report it to the community. After a check, the sender is added to the blacklist. If you have a missed call and are not sure whether to call back, you can smart dialer and look up the number. If information about the sender is available, it will be shown in the app.
Once you receive a call, Hiya will display how many community users have marked the sender as spam. It not only shows the amount of notifications, but also their content. This turns out to be useful in practice, because it gives you immediate clarity about the content of the telephone offers.
Incoming calls are shown (and therefore not suppressed), but provided with a marking. All calls are recorded in the call history (i.e. between legitimate calls), so that you always have a complete overview.
