This week: driving with Renault Megane E-tech and Klokje Rond Seat Leon 20VT

This week you can read and see how the Renault Mégane E-Tech drives. The electric Renault is one of the most important new models for 2022 and the most important model for the brand in years. The video of the test will be online on Tuesday.

The Renault Mégane E-tech is a completely new electric car that has to compete with models such as the Volkswagen ID3 and Kia e-Niro. The electric crossover can be ordered from February 2022, and will be on the market in the spring. At the start there is a choice of battery packs of 40 and 60 kWh. The Mégane E-Tech Electric is 470 kilometers away, the variant with the smaller battery pack reaches 300 kilometers on a charge.

Monday afternoon is traditionally the time when we present you a new episode of Klokje Rond. This week it is a Seat Leon with the 1.8 turbo engine, the well-known 1.8-20VT and which is linked to the Topsport version. The Leon that goes on the bridge is from 2005 and has 360,000 kilometers on the clock. The engine runs on LPG.

This week we are already saying goodbye to the Ford Mondeo. We picked up a thick ST-Line X, a very complete version with all the trimmings and with that we take you through the history of the Ford Mondeo. The curtain will fall for that model in 2022, after 29 years. We dive into history, get behind the wheel of an early generation and also look ahead to the future with the hybrid station wagon.
