Android 11 was officially announced by Google in September of 2020. This Android version introduced, among other things, a new place for messages from chat apps in the notification screen, chat bubbles for chat apps, a built-in screen recording function, new smart home control, and much more. Nokia has had to adjust its update schedule for the Android 11 rollout in May this year due to delays in the process. The Nokia 6.2, Nokia 7.2 and the Nokia 9 PureView were in the last places in the new schedule. These phones would receive the update before the end of September, but that deadline has not been met either. The Android 11 update for the Nokia 7.2 started yesterday, but not yet in the Netherlands and Belgium. We assume that the owners of this phone won’t have to wait long now. Nokia has not yet announced anything about the update for the Nokia 9 PureView.
