People often use a tablet unnoticed for hours on end. This can lead to complaints of the shoulders, neck and back. You can avoid problems with a few simple accessories.
Good attitude
A tablet is small and fairly light. Many people sit with it at the table, on the couch or in bed. Hours in a row. They don’t notice that they’ve been staring at their device with their heads down for a while. Stiff shoulders and neck pain can result. If you pay close attention to your posture during tablet use (straight back, relaxed shoulders, head not bent too far) you can do a lot with prevention. It is important, for example, not to lay the tablet flat on a table, but tilt it slightly upwards with the screen at the same angle as your face. Certain accessories can help improve your posture when using a tablet.
accessories
Accessories for good posture:
- A tablet sleeve that allows you to tilt the tablet upwards. Then you have a better viewing angle, which is better for your neck.
- A separate keyboard if you type a lot. Then you no longer need to use the on-screen keyboard of the tablet. It’s better for the hands and wrists.
The tablet covers and separate keyboards are for sale at stores such as MediaMarkt, Coolblue and Bol.com. Some separate keyboards are already included in a cover, so you can buy two accessories in one.
