Alpine A110 gets a refresher

The Alpine A110 has been with us for about four years now, so the French think the time is right for a refresher. On Wednesday we get to see the renewed A110.

You can’t really improve much on a successful retro design like that of the Alpine A110, can you? It is therefore extra interesting to see what Alpine has in store for us when it presents the renewed A110. The teaser video below does not provide any clarity, although the well-known rear light of the A110 can be seen in a flash. Although Alpine speaks of ‘the new A110’, it is of course no more than a – probably subtle – facelift.

Also not unimportant: we just hear the 1.8 turbo engine. That is not a surprise, but a further confirmation that it is certainly not yet the next generation of the A110. After all, that will be a fully electric model. In addition to some external changes for the A110, carefully count on updated infotainment and perhaps also a small power cure for the power source borrowed from the Renault Mégane RS.

The Alpine A110 is a relatively rare sight in the Netherlands. To date, 142 units have been sold, 20 of which have been sold this year.
