Pay with PayPal

IDEAL is not a payment option outside the Netherlands. PayPal does. Handy, because you can also shop internationally without a credit card. The service is also active in the Netherlands. BCC, De Bijenkorf, Blokker, Hema, Mediamarkt and Praxis, among others, accept PayPal for online purchases.

PayPal comes into the picture when it comes to paying. The steps below are based on the Hema system. In other online stores, the procedure may be slightly different, but the principle is always the same.

• We have already placed a number of products in the Hema online shopping cart.
• We go through the steps on the screen, such as specifying the delivery address for the items.
• Finally we arrive at the page ‘How do you want to pay?’
• We choose paypal.
• Then we click confirm and pay.
• We now see the PayPal login page.
• Enter email address and password.
• click on login.
• If you have multiple payment options, choose your favorite.
• If only one payment option is active, it is selected. For example ‘Bank account’.
• click on Get on.
• We return to the Hema page and see the text ‘Thank you for your order’.
