This month you can order the Jeep Wrangler for model year 2022. From now on, it can only be ordered with a ‘4xe’ plug-in hybrid powertrain.

Jeep will open the order books for the Wrangler for model year 2022 in December of this year. Previously it was available as a petrol and diesel version, from now on it is only the 4xe plug-in hybrid. The powertrain consists of a two-liter I-4 petrol engine, two electric motors and an eight-speed automatic transmission. This allows you to drive four-wheel drive (off-road).

Other improvements

Jeep has more in store for the Wrangler of model year 2022. For example, it provides additional driver assistance systems as standard: automatic high beam assist, Full Speed Forward Collision Warning Plus, advanced brake assist and adaptive cruise control with stop function.

The Uconnect infotainment system – equipped with the 8.4 inch display – offers additional Uconnect services, including via the My Uconnect app. Not only do they serve to remotely control functions and manage charging functions, but also to facilitate off-roading.

In addition, the option list for the Jeep Wrangler 4xe has been expanded. The windshield with Corning Gorilla Glass is useful for off-road driving: lightweight, strong and resistant to asterisks. The Sunrider Flip Top (‘by Mopar’) is an opening soft top above the front row of seats, while the rest of the roof is covered with a hard top. Finally, Jeep offers new paint finishes: Tuscadero (pink) and Gobi (khaki).
