A well-known rumor has revealed the storage models and different colors of the Galaxy S22 range. In terms of storage and RAM, there are no big surprises, but Samsung is coming with a few new shades.
Galaxy S22: colors and storage
The Galaxy S22 series is approaching and according to rumors, Samsung will present its three phones on February 8. It concerns the Samsung Galaxy S22, the Galaxy S22 Plus and Galaxy S22 Ultra. As the launch gets closer, the wings of the rumor mill will spin faster. This time the well-known rumor spreader Snoopy Tech is making a tweet more known about the storage variants and colors of the three devices.
First of all, working memory. Samsung will only release the S22 and S22 Plus with 8 GB of RAM, while the Ultra variant comes standard with 12 GB. The most powerful version of that phone has 16 GB of RAM and is the only model to also come with 512 GB of storage. So we will again not see a phone with 1 TB of storage, as Samsung did with the Galaxy S10 Plus.
Also in terms of colors, Samsung does not distinguish between the Galaxy S22 and the S22 Plus. The three devices come in black, white and rose gold shades. The company will delete the latter on the S22 Ultra and will replace it with a dark red color. Although the company is expected to release the phones in even more colors after they hit the market.
Galaxy S22 Note?
Apart from this leaked information, another source says the Galaxy S22 Ultra will have a different name than we expect. Samsung would use ‘Note’ in the name and the phones may soon be called: ‘Galaxy Note 22 Ultra’ or ‘Galaxy S22 Note’. That says the rumor spreader FrontTron on Twitter. Samsung’s most high-quality flagship from the Galaxy S series also gets a place for the S Pen in its housing for the first time. More and more rumors state that the Galaxy Note series is coming to an end.
