It doesn’t matter if you’re from camp Android or from an old model. Taking a screenshot on the iPhone 13 may raise some question marks. That is why Mark explains step by step how to do that exactly in this article.
Bought a new iPhone 13 series phone and stuck on taking a screenshot? Then you are 100% not alone. Certainly people coming from a different operating system will probably have to get used to how it all works with iOS. So also taking a screenshot.
Take a screenshot on your iPhone 13
Let’s start with the most obvious method: taking a screenshot with the buttons of your iPhone 13. By pressing the top volume button on the left side of the smartphone and the power button on the right, you take a screenshot. This is then, minimized, in the lower left corner of your smartphone.
When you click on that minimized screen you get to see the captured screenshot in full. From there it is possible to edit the photo directly on your iPhone 13. You can add text, make drawings or even crop the photo. Ideal, then!

Did you take a screenshot and are you happy with the result? Then you can logically also share it with other people. You do this by clicking directly on the square with the up arrow. Then choose the platform or contact person you want to share it with.
Screenshot with AssistiveTouch
Do you prefer to use the AssistiveTouch functionality? No problem! It is also possible to take a screenshot on your iPhone 13 via this route. Make sure to enable the functionality first by going to Settings -> Accessibility -> Touch -> AssistiveTouch turn on.
Then customize the menu you see when you tap the button. You do that by going to Customize top menu to select and press the Amended button. You will see a list of functionalities. You logically choose the option Screenshot.
Finally, it is possible to click on the transparent button of AssistiveTouch and choose the function Screenshot.

iPhone 13: take a screenshot with Siri
Don’t feel like taking a screenshot manually at all and just want your iPhone 13 to do it itself? Then it is of course also possible to ask Siri to do this. Press and hold the power button or shout Hey Siri to activate the smart assistant. Did you do that? Simply say you want the assistant to take a screenshot of the screen.
As with the above methods, a small preview of the image will appear in the lower left corner of your screen. This way you can edit the photo again or share it with others.
