Don’t feel like immediately switching to Windows 11, but do you feel the need to test the new operating system? You may want to consider trying Windows 11 in a virtual machine.
You can then try the software and decide afterwards to use the new Windows version as the main operating system. For the virtualization you can use the Oracle VM VirtualBox Manager. It is nice that you can create a virtual machine based on a wizard.
At the time of writing, Windows 11 does not yet appear in the list of default profiles, but you use Windows 10 as a starting point. You will also need a Windows 11 ISO disk file, which you can find on Microsoft’s official download pages when Windows 11 is available. Are you ready for the more advanced settings, such as which peripherals for Windows should be available in the virtual machine? , then you can adjust this later via the properties window.
The snapshot function allows you to take a snapshot of the installation, to which you can return relatively easily in the future. This function is especially useful if you want to try functions without further consequences.
