Motorola releases two budget devices from the Moto G series on the Dutch market. The Moto G71 has the most powerful chipset of the two, while the G41 comes with a camera that has optical image stabilization. They will be on sale from 14 February from 269.99 euros.
Motorola Moto G71 and G41
On Valentine’s Day, Motorola wants to win our love with the new Moto G71 and Moto G41. They are two love apples from the low price segment that are very similar in design. Both have a plastic housing with a water-repellent coating, which does not mean the same as ‘waterproof’.
The Moto G71 has a fingerprint scanner on the back and there is no microSD slot. The Moto G41 does have that microSD slot and the fingerprint scanner is on the side. Both phones have a 3.5mm audio jack. The screen of the devices is otherwise the same, because it is a 6.4-inch AMOLED panel with a Full HD resolution.
5G or not?
Motorola with these mid-ranges for a different strategy when it comes to the chipset. The Moto G71 works with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 which supports 5G. The phone has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.

The Moto G41, on the other hand, comes with a less powerful MediaTek Helio G85 processor that only supports 4G. This phone comes with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Both Motos have a 5000 mAh battery that you can charge with the 30W fast charger. They appear with Android 11 instead of the newer Android 12.
Camera with OIS
There are also differences in the camera area. The Moto G71 has a 50 MP main camera, along with an 8 MP wide-angle sensor, a 2 MP macro camera and a 16 MP selfie camera.
The Moto G41 instead has a 48 MP main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). It should help this phone to film more stably and take better photos in difficult lighting conditions. The Moto G41 also has the same wide-angle camera and macro camera, but it comes with a 13 MP selfie camera.
