Plug-in hybrids to be delivered in the summer
Jeep Compass and Renegade 4xe
If you want to order a First Edition of the plug-in hybrid Jeep Renegade or Compass, you must do this quickly and online. These and other ‘4xe’ versions will be delivered in the summer.
Jeep starts the market launch of the Jeep Renegade 4xe and Compass 4xe – the plug-in hybrid versions of the SUVs – with First Editions. These can only be ordered online, on a special website that will go live for the Netherlands one of these days. The exclusive introduction models will be delivered at the same time as the regular Longitude, Limited, S and Trailhawk equipment levels: starting in the summer.
We now know the following about the First Editions. Two versions appear: the Urban, based on the S-equipment level, and the Off-Road that builds on the Trailhawk. All are equipped with the top motorization with 240 hp, consisting of a 1.3 turbo petrol engine with automatic transmission on the front axle and an electric motor at the rear wheels. With that you have permanent all-wheel drive.
Jeep Compass 4xe
In electric mode you can (theoretically) drive up to 50 km. A Wallbox is included in the First Edition Pack. With the 3 kW facility you can charge the car within 3.5 hours, with the 7.4 kW it can be completed within 100 minutes. The battery pack comes with a 8-year warranty, and the Jeep itself with 5 years.
In addition to specific functions to save energy, for example, the hybrid First Editons are equipped with special equipment as standard. It consists of the Uconnect Nav system with 8.4 inch touchscreen, smartphone exchange, blind spot detection, reversing camera, parking assistance and sensors, electrically operated mirrors and a charging cable. The Urban has 19-inch wheels, the Off-Road 17-inch terrain specimens; the Renegade gets LED lighting, the Compass bi-xenon. The First Editions appear in five paint colors.
