WhatsApp: 5 handy tricks you didn’t know existed (yet)

whatsapp has been one of the most popular applications of both Android and iOS users for years. Not surprising, because it is the way for billions of people to stay in touch with your loved ones. But are we sure we already know the app through and through?

Despite the fact that there are an incredible number of people who whatsapp use, there are also an incredible number of people for whom the application still has secrets. That’s great, because after all these years there is still something new to discover. You do, of course, need to know where to look.

Fortunately, we have already done the preparatory work. In this article you will find five delicious tricks that you can use even more whatsapp can get. One may be a little more useful than the other, but all are undoubtedly helpful to someone!

#1 Can it be a little quieter?

It’s with whatsapp possible to call your friends and relatives. The advantage of this is that this goes via the internet, so that this conversation does not deduct from your calling minutes. But in some situations it can be annoying that you can always be reached. Especially when there are people who strip the functionality.

#2 Two WhatsApp, one iPhone

To handle two different accounts on your iPhone you need an app called Parallel Spaces† This makes it possible to create two personal whatsappaccounts to use. If you want to do it on a business level, you can also do it via the WhatsApp Businessdo app. Both applications explain, after installation, what you have to do step by step. But at least you know that it is possible and where to look for it.

#3 Fucking behind everyone’s backs

Sometimes you are in a group conversation in which a friend says something funny, or something wrong. You can of course choose to respond to the person in that group, but you can also keep it personal. Or just chat behind everyone’s back. Because sometimes that’s just fun.

You can join a group conversation whatsapp press and hold someone’s message. Then press the three dots if you are using Android (iOS the option pops up immediately) and select Reply privately† The message from the group conversation is converted into a quote and you can then reply yourself.

#4 WhatsApp: new number, old conversations

It sometimes happens that you are provided with a new mobile number. As a rule, that does not matter very much, if it is not the case that you have access to whatsapp threatens to lose. Of course, that’s not a disaster for everyone, but it’s nice for some people to take all their conversations with them. After all these years whatsapp to provide some memories.

#5 Deleted, but not gone

Pair the smartphone with the appropriate whatsappaccount to your computer. Then open My computer and go to the internal memory of the smartphone. Then choose the folder WhatsApp/Database and search for msgstore-yyyy..dd..db.crypt. Press with your right mouse button on this folder and select via Open with -> the notepad. Voila!
