The Dutch supercar builder Donkervoort is spreading its wings to the United States. According to the manufacturer, there has been demand for the models of the brand from the United States for years and it can now meet that demand by crossing over to the United States.
Donkervoort cars have never been delivered to the United States through the official channels. Anyone ordering a Donkervoort in the Netherlands now has to take into account a delivery time of about two years. This is partly because Donkervoort indicates that it has reserved production locations for the American market. The D8 GTO Individual Series is one of the first Donkervoorts to come to the United States. The starting price of that car is $ 240,000, excluding taxes and fees. In the Netherlands, the D8 GTO has a basic starting price of about €163,000. That is also without taxes.
The first Donkervoort will soon be available at Naples Motorsports in Florida. In addition, Donkervoort will ship cars to the states of Colorado and California. All cars are sold through companies affiliated with Donkervoort’s trading partner Bespoke Imports Group.
