The production of the iPhone 14 is anything but smooth. Apple reportedly ran into another problem last week. The American company was told that another factory in China had to close. The reason for the closure is again a corona outbreak, which means that a strict lockdown is in effect.

According to insiders, there does not seem to be much reason to panic, but the problems do pile up quickly this way. You can read more about it in the article below.

Where the Mac mini, various MacBook models and even the iMac are already equipped with the M1 treatment, the Mac Pro seems to know it for the time being. Many consumers have long wondered when Apple will come out with a new model. However, the answer to that question seems to be “never”.

According to reliable journalist Mark Gurman, the computer was in development, but has since been discontinued. That would have to do with the arrival of the M2 chip that Apple announced during WWDC 2022.

After the news broke that a Chinese Apple factory had to close, there was more bad news. According to insiders, the iPhone 14, which is produced by Genius, does not meet the quality requirement. The reason for this would be a coating for the camera lens, which can break far too easily.

Apple finds a temporary solution to the problem in Largan, Taiwan and gives Genius two months to solve the problems. If that doesn’t work, Largan will take over part of the production of the iPhone 14.

The iPad Pro goes on a diet. At least that’s the rumor that came out earlier this week. According to ET News, the 2024 tablet is getting the OLED treatment. As a result, Apple not only increases the image quality of the device, but also makes it a lot lighter.

In addition to the arrival of an OLED panel, Apple is also working on the so-called Display Dry Etching Process. This is a chemical technology that makes it possible to omit unnecessary parts on the screen. This makes the screen not only lighter, but also a bit thinner.

Last weekend, in a new edition of Power On, Mark Gurman predicted the arrival of an Apple Watch Pro. This smartwatch is said to have a brand new design, which is more compatible with the iPhone and iPad models. The housing is reinforced and can therefore also be used for extreme sports activities.

Previously, the such model went around the world as the Apple Watch Extreme Sports Edition.
