OnePlus has released important information about the battery and charger of the OnePlus 10T. The phone has a 4,800 mAh battery, which can be charged with a powerful 150W fast charger. The phone is fully charged in 19 minutes.
OnePlus 10T Charger
It was coming if we were to believe previous rumors, but now it’s official. The OnePlus 10T gets a much more powerful charger compared to the Pro version. The 80W fast charger is exchanged for a 150W SuperVOOC fast charger, which becomes known from a video that OnePlus shares on Twitter. In the video are the engineers who are working on the OnePlus 10T.
The 150W fast charger is nothing new, as OPPO introduced the technology to the general public in February. Besides the fact that the OnePlus 10T is charged in 19 minutes, the battery also lasts longer thanks to the Battery Health Engine (BHE). It repairs electrodes, giving a battery 1,600 charge cycles instead of the industry standard of 800 cycles. In other words, a battery can last twice as long. That is an important advantage, because a worn out battery is the reason for many smartphone users to purchase a new phone.
No alert slider or Hasselblad camera
However, the OnePlus 10T has also been criticized by fans, because the Chinese brand has also made compromises. The smartphone works without the well-known alert slider with which you can quickly manage the sound of notifications. On the other hand, OnePlus has not entered into a collaboration with the camera brand Hasselblad this time either. OnePlus provides an explanation for these decisions here. We can infer that the brand wants to push the price of the OnePlus 10T, and the flagship will probably be cheaper than the OnePlus 10 Pro.
