Unprecedented successes

Ferrari set a sales record last year, but it is likely that 2022 will be well above that. The Italians raise their sales expectations for the rest of the year after a record quarter.
Never before have so many Ferraris been ordered in one quarter as in last quarter. In the second quarter, almost 3,500 cars went to their new owner. That is 770 more than in the same period last year. In the first half of the year, there were 6,706 units, 1,250 more than in the same period a year earlier.
In addition, Ferrari recorded record turnover and profit, Ferrari reported on Tuesday in the presentation of the quarterly and half-year figures. In the past six months, Ferrari generated more than €2.4 billion in turnover and a net profit of €490 million. As things went so well in the first six months of the year, the Maranello-based automaker also expects better performance for the remainder of 2022 than previously forecast.
Last year Ferrari sold a record number of more than 11,155 cars. If 2022 continues like this, the brand will pass the 13,000 units this year. Ferrari now expects an annual turnover of €4.9 billion for 2022, €100 million more than previously expected.
