A trendsetter in the modern Sport Touring segment, which combines sportiness with comfortable travel. That, in a nutshell, according to Kawasaki, is the Ninja 1000SX. For model year 2023, the SX is also available in the new Metallic Matte Sovereign Red color.
It will certainly not have escaped our regular reader’s notice that with every update Kawasaki has made since its launch, when it was still known as the Z1000SX, we have become more and more enamored with the bike that has been renamed Ninja 1000SX, but to check whether it has actually combined sportiness with comfortable travel, we recently subjected it to the ultimate test: a weekend touring in Germany and two days of gas in Assen.
And, to check whether it is indeed a trendsetter in it, put it directly against its direct competitor: the Suzuki GSX-S1000GT. The extensive test, which will be published in two parts, is currently being worked hard in the editorial team, but we are fortunate that the Emerald Blazed Green color with which we did the two extensive tests will also be available in 2023.
In addition to the existing Emerald Blazed Green, the Ninja 1000SX will also be available next season in the new Metallic Sovereign Red color. As in previous years, the bike is also available with an attractive Tourer, Performance and Performance Tourer package.
