The electric Opel Zafira-e Life gets a new and third camper version. The passenger car version of the Opel Vivaro will soon also be available as Crosscamp Flex.
Opel already supplies two camping versions of the Zafira Life in Germany, among others: the Crosscamp Life and Crosscamp Lite. They always have a diesel engine under the hood. Now the electric variant of that spacious passenger car will also receive a similar variant: the Crosscamp Flex.
Like the Crosscamp Life and Crosscamp Lite, the new Flex variant that Opel is showing of the electric Zafira-e Life was developed in collaboration with motorhome specialist Crosscamp. Just like the regular electric version of the Zafira-e Life, there is a 75 kWh battery in the bottom that allows the space giant to reach a distance of 322 kilometers. However, the Crosscamp Flex has a second battery on board, although it is a 95 Ah unit that provides electricity for things such as the lighting, the cool box and the USB ports.
The Opel Zafira-e Crosscamp Flex has of course more than that. There is a kitchenette on board, a sink and even a gas stove. In addition, Crosscamp provides the Opel Zafira-e Life in camper trim with fitted wardrobes, tanks for drinking water and waste water and of course a rear seat that can be converted into a sleeping place for two people. Can you travel with just the two of you? Well no. The Zafira-e Life Crosscamp Flex has a lifting roof with two more sleeping places directly below.
The Zafira-e Crosscamp Flex will make its debut at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, which opens its doors on August 26. Specific information for the Dutch market is not yet available.
