New technology for driving pleasure and comfort
Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio
The renewed Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio will of course also be delivered in Quadrifoglio performance version. The Italian brand presented these two fast Alfas in a virtual press conference.
The renewed Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio are coming soon. As always, the performance versions are all about driving pleasure and performance. The aluminum 2.9 liter V6 biturbo engine can deliver 510 hp of power and has the maximum pulling power of 600 Nm at 2,500 rpm. The power unit moves the wheels together with the 8-speed automatic transmission, the Q4 all-wheel drive and the Active Torque Vectoring system.
And then the fun can begin! The Quadrifoglio’s are equipped with Active Suspension, DNA Pro selector with Race mode and – in the Giulia – an Active Aero splitter. The Dual Mode exhaust can be replaced by a new Akrapovic exhaust as desired. The performance pages, which provide real-time information about acceleration and turbo pressure, have been updated.
That is part of the other interface of the new infotainment system. That has an 8.8 inch large touchscreen and offers connected services. Also newly designed are the center console, the leather steering wheel and poker, the LED tail lights and the 21-inch wheels. Alfa Romeo also introduces autonomous driving at level 2 (‘level 2 ADAS’), just like on the regular Stelvio and Giulia.
Soon you can choose from some new ‘Heritage’ paint colors: Rosso 6C Villa d’Este, Ocra GT Junior and Verde Montreal. In addition to these classic shades, the performance models are offered in a Metallic and Pastel range, plus sporty Competizione colors. The prices will be announced as soon as the performance versions come to the Netherlands.
