There have been rumors about the new iPhone 14 for months. Now there are also photos of the iPhone 14 (Pro) cases. These cases reveal more about the camera of Apple’s latest smartphone.
Leaked iPhone 14 cases call ‘plus’ model
New iPhone 14 cases have appeared on the internet. That’s good news, because it gives us more information about Apple’s new smartphone. The photos tell more about the dimensions of the new devices. It is striking that the covers still fit the iPhone 13. The cameras (and the matching sensors) just don’t quite match.
iPhone 14 cases 2022: fall colors
It’s the same song every year: twitterer Majin Bu drops the cases of the new iPhone just before Apple announces them. This year is no different. The photo above shows the different colors of the covers. The image shows the leather cases for the iPhone 14 Pro and the silicone cases for the iPhone 14.
The leather cases for the iPhone 14 Pro come in orange, brown, golden brown, midnight blue, black and green. The silicone case comes in midnight blue, cactus green, chalk pink, red, lilac, sunglow, blue, and elderberry. These names also sound a bit like Apple names, so there is a chance that they will actually be called that. We have already listed the colors of the iPhone 14 in a previous article.
Cases reveal larger camera island in Pro models
The iPhone 14 Pro gets a major upgrade from the camera island. From the image above, it can be seen that the iPhone 14’s camera upgrades aren’t just software upgrades. You see that the sensors are also going to be bigger in Apple’s new smartphone.
The account Yeux1122, which had previously shown photos of iPhone14 cases, shared the above photo. We see an iPhone 13 Pro in an iPhone 14 Pro case. As you can see, all sensors (from the cameras to the LiDAR scanner) are getting bigger with the iPhone 14 Pro.

Mark Gurman, a very reliable Apple analyst, reported in his latest Power On newsletter that the sensors in the iPhone 14 Pro are not only getting bigger, but also better. With the new iPhone you can film even better and take photos in low light.
