Jupiter has 67 confirmed moons. Four of them have been known for several centuries and can easily be seen with a small telescope, and even with binoculars. At night, look high to the east/south. The brightest “star” you’ll see there these months is the planet Jupiter. Point your binoculars at Jupiter and you may see some of those four moons. They are lined up in the equatorial plane of Jupiter. If you don’t see four, it’s because of the moons passing in front of and behind Jupiter during their orbit around Jupiter.
