More standard
The sportier alternative to the Volkswagen ID3 has been improved. We are talking about the electric Cupra Born. It is not about technical changes, by the way.
The Cupra Born is available in five versions in the Netherlands. The basic version Essential and the Business are reserved for the Born with 204 hp electric motor and the 58 kWh battery. Above that are the Adrenaline, Performance and Copper Edition, which can be combined with the 231 hp powertrain with 58 kWh or 77 kWh battery. Cupra is now making adjustments to the standard equipment of the Performance and Copper Edition.
Both the Cupra Born Performance and Copper Edition now have a 360-degree camera, a blind spot sensor and a parking assistant as standard. In addition, both variants give a warning when getting out at a dangerous moment. Furthermore, Lane Assist Plus, Emergency Assist and Travel Assist are standard, as well as Trained Park Assist and full parking assistance.
Across the board, the Cupra Born will be about 2 grand more expensive from 1 January. You can see the new prices below.
