Opel recently unveiled the electric version of the Astra. It was not to be called Astra-e, but Astra Electric. AutoWeek could already confirm that all Opel electric models will soon receive the Electric suffix and will therefore lose the ‘-e’ after the model name. Now Opel changes the model name of the electric Mokka-e to Opel Mokka Electric. It directly tackles the powertrain of the electric crossover.

Just like the Astra Electric and earlier the Peugeot e-208, the Opel Mokka Electric will have a larger battery pack. The 50 kWh large pack is replaced by a 54 kWh large battery pack with a net capacity of 51 kWh. In addition, the 136 hp electric motor will also be replaced by a more powerful but above all more efficient 156 hp and 260 Nm strong electric motor. The result is a significantly increased range. The Opel Mokka Electric now travels up to 406 kilometers on a full battery. For the technical adjustment, the Mokka-e had to do with a range of up to 338 kilometers. 20 percent profit. In less than ten seconds, the Mokka Electric buzzes to a speed of 100 km / h, the top speed is 150 km / h. A 3-phase charger is standard. The maximum charging power is 100 kW.
