Your own creativity with some digital help
It’s almost the weekend, so time for some light-hearted entertainment. Renault challenges fans of the birthday boy Twingo to come up with the most creative Twingo using artificial intelligence (AI). The most creative concept is actually built by the French.
The Renault Twingo came on the market almost thirty years ago and Renault likes to think about that. It does it in an original way, to be honest. The French serve us a series of very special Twingos, one of which looks even more bizarre than the other. The Twingos you see are not drawn by hand, but have been visualized with the help of artificial intelligence. There is an increasingly wide range of apps and websites on which you can generate an image yourself (often for free too) using some keywords. Renault challenges Twingo enthusiasts to try it out for themselves. We can imagine that something like ‘flying Renault Twingo-Pikachu with jet engines as wheels’ has been introduced with the above Twingo, but don’t pin us down on that.
It is of course not all very serious, but there is still a nice tail to the whole story. From February 1 to March 31, anyone on social media can share their own AI creations with the hashtag #ReinventTwingo. Renault then chooses a winning design from all publications and will build a physical version of it. According to Renault, this will then be the ‘first show car to emerge from artificial intelligence and human intelligence’. We are curious to see what crazy things will happen in the near future.
