More equipment, a little more money

When a car manufacturer pulls out the term ‘Competition’, you quickly think of extra power. The Audi E-tron GT Competition does not have that, but buyers can count on extra spacious standard equipment at a small additional cost. In fact, it is an action model.
Audi adds the Competition version to the range of the Audi E-tron GT. With a starting price of €112,905, the new version has a marginally higher price than the entry-level E-tron GT (€110,915), but has quite a few extras. That starts on the outside: the E-tron GT Competition stands on 20-inch five-spoke wheels with a partly diamond cut and partly high-gloss black finish. That black fits in nicely with the rest of the Competition’s exterior, because it always features bumper details in high-gloss black and extra dark-tinted privacy glass. The ‘grille’ is painted in body color on the action version.
That body color is not the standard gray that you see in the photos, because the Competition is also the only free option with a white unipaint. What is always on the new version: adaptive air suspension, the more extensive sound system from Bang & Olufsen, mood lighting and the Tour package including adaptive cruise control and things like an active lane assist and traffic jam assistant.
If you order those things on an E-tron GT without a Competition addition, you will have to pay thousands of euros extra. That car also has 19 instead of 20-inch wheels. As a result, we can conclude that the new Competition is an offer that is difficult to ignore. There are no other choices in terms of trim levels, unless you go for the much more expensive and faster RS E-tron GT.
