Abarth comes with a limited 595 Scorpioneoro

Abarth comes with a new limited version of the 595, the extreme version of the Fiat 500. With the Scorpineoro, Abarth makes a big nod to an exclusive ancestor.

The Abart 595 Scorpioneoro is an Italian tribute to the exclusive A112 Abarth ‘Gold Ring’. Most enthusiasts know this exclusive bomb better as the A112 Abarth ‘Targa Oro’. The sports branch of Fiat built only 150 copies of that car in 1979. This new exclusive Scorpioneoro can count on a slightly less exclusive status, because Abarth builds a total of 2,000.

Since it pays homage to the ‘Gold Ring’, the new exclusive looks naturally similar to its ancestor in terms of equipment. It was characterized by its black color scheme, golden details here and there and shiny gold-colored alloy wheels. These details are now also reflected in the Abarth 595. It comes as standard in black – optionally also in Podium Blue, Racing White or Record Gray – and it gets a matt black roof with a chessboard pattern. Abarh also incorporated various gold-colored details in the car, such as the scorpion on the hood, the striping and the 17-inch gold wheels.

Under the hood we find the well-known 1.4 T-jet petrol engine with 165 hp. To get to 100 from a standstill, the Abarth needs 7.3 seconds. Dutch prices will follow. For those who are also happy with two wheels, Abarth also introduces the special 595 Monster Energy Yamaha. This special motorcycle celebrates the collaboration between the two brands that has been taking place since 2015.
