Acura has a completely new MDX in the development rooms. The brand shows a teaser photo showing the front of the SUV.
Acura is about to launch a new generation of MDX. The fourth model series follows the current model launched in 2014. Fair is fair: the appearance will not come as a surprise to anyone.
In October this year, Acura already showed the MDX Prototype, an almost entirely production-ready looking preview of the new seven-seater SUV. Acura has already indicated that the MDX will be available with a 3.5-liter VTEC V6 with variable valve timing. This is linked to a ten-speed automatic transmission that distributes the power to all four wheels. In addition, Acura promises the arrival of a sporty Type S version. If it gets the same powertrain as the eponymous version of the new TLX, then you have to bet on a 360 hp and 480 Nm strong blown 3.0 V6. The MDX is on the platform that parent company Honda introduced under the new Pilot last year.

Although the MDX is completely unknown in the Netherlands, the model has been around for about twenty years in the United States. Over three generations now, Acura has sold more than one million MDXs in the United States. The new Acura MDX will be unveiled on December 8. Of course he will not come to Europe.
