Just a little patience and the Formula 1 season will start again. In the Netherlands, the popularity of this sport has grown enormously since the victories of Max Verstappen. Are you a racing fanatic? Then you can easily add the 2024 Formula 1 calendar to your agenda, so you immediately know where, when and what time the races are.
Not only can you add the Grand Prix race to your calendar, you can also add (sprint) qualifications and free training. This way you stay fully informed of all events, useful if you want to follow Formula 1 on ViaPlay or F1 TV Pro.
Formula 1 calendar 2024
Before you can add the calendar to your Calendar on your iPhone, iPad or Mac, you must first create the calendar. We use the f1calendar website for this. Here you can create a personal F1 calendar so that you can add it to iCloud or Google Calendar. You can also use other websites such as motorsport.com or racingnews365.nl.
- Open the f1calendar website
- Tap or click ‘Add these race dates and start times to your calendar’ at the top
- Then select the desired items for the agenda
- If necessary, set a default reminder for the items in this calendar
- Tap or click Get Calendar
Do you want to add the F1 calendar to iCloud? Then choose ‘Collect’ and follow the steps on the screen. For example, macOS, iOS or iPadOS asks if you want to retrieve the calendar and open it in the Calendar app. You can then add the calendar to your Agenda by ‘Subscribing’ to the Agenda. Do you use Google Calendar? Then, after creating the calendar, choose ‘Add to Google Calendar’. If you prefer no ‘subscription’, you can also download the ics file.
Edit Formula 1 calendar
As soon as you click the ‘Subscribe’ button, the Formula 1 calendar will be imported into Apple’s Calendar app. Then you can give it a name and color. Tap Add to add the calendar to the Calendar app. You can then view all selected items in the Agenda with the correct times adjusted to our time zone. The calendar is also automatically updated if changes occur.
Delete calendar
Have you made a mistake, or do you want to delete the Formula 1 calendar? You can do this by secondary clicking (right mouse button) on the calendar on a Mac and choosing ‘Cancel subscription’. On an iPhone or iPad, this can be done by opening the Calendar app, going to Calendars and tapping the i button next to the F1 calendar. Delete this with the ‘Cancel subscription’ button.
Discount on ViaPlay
You can purchase an annual subscription to Viaplay at an extra discount. This way you get a 20% discount and you don’t pay € 15.99 per month, but € 12.79 per month. The subscription has a binding period of 12 consecutive months during which you automatically pay € 12.79 per month. After this binding period ends, your subscription will automatically be converted to a subscription without a binding period at the then applicable rate list. In 2024, ViaPlay subscribers will also be able to use F1 TV Pro for free.
