Alfa Romeo likes to reflect on its heritage and this is now reflected in a special edition of both the Alfa Romeo Giulia and the Stelvio.

This year marks 96 years since Alfa Romeo claimed its first victory in the famous Mille Miglia rally. Apparently that is the time to reflect on it with a special edition for both the Giulia Quadrifoglio and the Stelvio Quadrifoglio. It goes by the name Super Sport and of course that name did not just come out of the blue. After all, in 1928 it was the Alfa Romeo 6C 1500 Super Sport that won the Mille Miglia. The second edition ever of the roughly 1,600 km long street race.

As a Super Sport, the Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio receive various carbon fiber accents. For example, the mirror covers are made of lightweight material and you can also find it on the roof. In the interior, there is a red carbon finish on the dashboard, center tunnel and door panels. Red stitching and red logos on the headrests are also included. The cars are shown in black (Nero Vulcano), but the red paint color Rosso Etna is also available and the white Bianco Alfa is also available for the Giulia. Nice detail; for the first time, the well-known clover in the emblem has been placed on a black instead of white background. From front to back, various usually chrome accents are also finished in black.

Under the hood of the Super Sports lies the well-known 520 hp 2.9-liter V6, after all the Quadrifoglio versions of both models form the basis. Only 275 units of the Alfa Romeo Giulia Super Sport are produced worldwide, the Stelvio Super Sport remains even rarer with 175 units. Prices are not available yet.
