Earlier this week, Jaguar put the XF on the cutting table, a moment that went hand in hand with the arrival of a hybrid diesel engine to the XE. Techzle has all the prices of that mild-hybrid XE.
The XE was facelifted about a year and a half ago, but that doesn’t mean Jaguar hasn’t done anything in the meantime. Jaguar XE (2020 -)
The mild-hybrid D200 is a 204 hp and 430 Nm strong 2.0 diesel engine supported by a 48v system. The D200, which replaces the 180 hp D180, is, just like the petrol versions, always linked to an eight-speed automatic transmission. In addition, the D200 is still the only motorization of the current XE that is available with both rear and all-wheel drive. The petrol engine P250 is only available in combination with rear-wheel drive, while the 300 hp P300 is always a four-wheel drive.
The Jaguar XE D200 as a rear-wheel drive sprints to a speed of 100 km / h in 7.3 seconds and has a top speed of 235 km / h. This makes it slightly faster than the XE D200 with four-wheel drive. The XE D200 AWD needs 7.5 seconds for the 0-100 sprint and has a top speed of 230 km / h. Than the average consumption. The rear-wheel drive XE D200 consumes – depending on the chosen version – 4.8 / 5.4 l / 100 km. The AWD version scores an average consumption of 5.5-5.9 / 100 km.
