Alfa Romeo shows through a teaser video that it brings something new to Geneva. For the time being it is not entirely clear what we can expect from the Italian side.
Alfa Romeo places a little revealing teaser video on its social in which the brand indicates to lift something new on stage at the Geneva Motor Show. Alfa Romeo speaks of a ‘come back’, but that too does not provide much clarification for the time being.
The description suggests that Alfa Romeo pulls a well-known model name like “8C” or “GTV” out of the mothballs, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Alfa Romeo initially had new models with those names on the agenda, but unfortunately new plans for the future of the brand showed that those newcomers were scrapped. Alfa Romeo does have a medium-sized SUV and a cross-over in the Renault Captur segment. A fully electric version of the compact high-legged one has to appear, a plug-in is also available from the larger SUV, a car where the Tonal Concept serves as a forerunner. Another possibility is that Alfa Romeo comes with an extra heavy version of the Giulia, a car for which the brand possibly dusts the designation ‘GTA’. For the time being we can only speculate, all open spaces are filled in Geneva.
